Taiwan: Sony launches Alpha series A57 DSLR camera.
Sony on April 10 announced the launch of its Alpha series A57 DSLR camera in the Taiwan market for sale at NT$21,980 (US$745) for body only, or NT$24,980 for body plus a 18-55mm zoom lens or NT$30,980 for body plus a 18-55mm and 55-200mm zoom lens, according to Sony Taiwan.
A57 features a 24.3-megapixel CMOS image sensor, 3-inch 921,600-pixel Xtra Fine LCD screen, dimensions of 132.1 (W) by 97.5 (H) by 80.7mm (D) and a weight (body only) of 543g, Sony Taiwan indicated.
