NAB2012: Audio Network and Disney team up in the making of “Chimpanzee 2012”. On air April 20th,2012
Audio Network (ANW) is excited to reveal that its music will be featured in the TV special, The Making of “Chimpanzee 2012”, that will air on Earth Day, April 20th, 2012. The 45-minute long special, which can be seen on the Disney Channel, features 36 tracks from Audio Network’s production music library.
The fact that 36 tracks are used, speaks to the incredible versatility of Audio Network’s catalogue. Having that many tracks in just one 45-minute long show is evidence that ANW’s production music library is not only of supreme quality, but extremely wide-ranging. Whether it is music for advertising or music for TV and film, Audio Network can do it all. For a preview of some of the tracks that will be used, click the links below:

“Chimpanzee 2012” is the newest documentary to come out of the Disneynature film label, which is the first Disney-branded film label from the Walt Disney Studios in over 60 years. Since the label was launched in April 2008, it has released three other nature-based documentaries: “Earth”, “Oceans”, and “African Cats” – all of which are among the top four highest grossing feature-length nature films of all time. Based on Disneynature’s history, the future of “Chimpanzee 2012” is very encouraging and Audio Network is thrilled to be a part of it.
“For years Audio Network has experienced a wonderful relationship with Disney and The Making Of Chimpanzee 2012 further establishes our partnership with them. This is the first time we are working with the Disneynature label and we’re eagerly awaiting the release,” said Jason Langley, Executive VP of Audio Network US.
The Making of “Chimpanzee 2012” isn’t the first time Audio Network and Disney have teamed up. Most recently, the two worked together on the John Carter trailer that aired during the 2012 Super Bowl (ANW1392_01 – Mars: http://us.audionetwork.com/production-music/mars_23078.aspx) as well as the Tangled International trailer (ANW1513_04 – El Chaca Chaca: http://us.audionetwork.com/production-music/el-chaca-chaca_35274.aspx).
